The Nike Vogelsinger Soccer All Star School at Carthage College offers one week of soccer training on this beautiful campus where professional staff will help mold young athletes. Field players and keepers are invited to join us for our 54th year of summer soccer instruction!

Looking for a great week of soccer training? Serious about soccer? This is the program for you! We want our students to reach their soccer-playing potential, and we want to set you on the path to get there!

Programs offered at Carthage College:

All Star School 1 (Sunday, July 7 - Friday, July 12): Individual Skills and Techniques

Players are assigned training groups first by age, then by skill.

Check in:

  • Overnight Campers: Sunday between 2-3pm
  • Extended Day and Day Campers: Sunday 3pm
  • Uniform distribution at 3pm

A TOTAL PACKAGE: All Vogelsinger Soccer students receive, as part of their tuition, Nike gear and a Nike match ball. Academy players receive two complete sets of Nike uniforms and two pairs of socks. All Star players receive two jerseys, one pair of socks and shorts. Players are required to wear the official uniforms and socks at every field session. You may order extra uniforms from the office (888-780-CAMP), camp store or online.
Jersey: $20. Shorts: $20. Socks: $12.

Check out:

Parents are invited to attend skills review session on Friday from 2:00-4:00pm. Program ends immediately following the skills review session. Last meal is lunch.

Spending Money: For pizza, subs, sodas – suggested amount is $30 a week. We order pizza or subs for late evening snacks, delivered at 8:30pm.

Dorms are not air conditioned. Please bring a fan.

A certified athletic trainer is on staff.

Group Discounts:

If you have a group of five or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount.

To register a group online: Please have one person contact the USSC office with the names of each camper in the group at 1-800-645-3226 to create a unique discount code. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during check out.


Milwaukee Airport (45 minutes from campus) O’Hare (1 hour from campus). Milwaukee is the easier airport to choose. Preferred Airport Arrival: 12:00pm – 1:30pm

Preferred Airport Departure: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Airport Shuttle: Transportation to campus can be arranged through Go Airport Connection at 1-800-236-5450 or fax 414-769-0209. Reservations are required. MKE approximate cost: $49 one-way, and $5 each additional person. Chicago ORD approximate cost: $142 one way, $150 for 2 people). There is a 5% discount if you book online.

  • 6:30 am Wake-up
  • 6:45 am Soccerobics (Mandatory Monday- Wednesday (ages 13 and up), then voluntary. We strongly encourage participation
  • 7:15 am Breakfast
  • 8:45-11:00 am On the field - Attendance, warmup, instruction. Goalkeepers separate
  • 11:00-11:30 am Small sided games
  • Noon Lunch
  • 1:00-1:30pm Mandatory rest
  • 1:45-3:30 pm On the field - Attendance, warmup, instruction. Goalkeepers separate
  • 3:30-4:30 pm Team with Coach. Fun, small-sided games in preparation for evening games
  • 5:00 pm Dinner
  • 6:00-6:30 pm Mandatory rest in room
  • 6:45 pm On field for stretching and warm-up
  • 7:15 pm Games
  • 9:00 pm Wrap-up meeting for all
