Josh joined Beestera in March 2019. Born and raised in Essex, England until he was eight years old, he moved to Vancouver, Canada for seven years before graduating high school in Buffalo, NY. After high school, Josh attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fl. From there he was recruited to play for Manhattan College at the NCAA Division I level. ACADEMY CAMP INFO:
- Dates: (Sun-Fri)
- July 7-12, 2024 (1-week Academy)
- July 14-19, 2024 (1-week Academy)
- July 7-19, 2024 (2-week Academy) *Includes weekend stayover 7/13-7/14 for Overnight campers
- Ages: 9-18
- Overnight check-in: Sunday between 1:30-3:00pm for overnight campers at Bricks Dorms (see map). Parents can drive into the circle and can temporarily park while they register/drop off.
- Overnight check-out: Friday between 12:30-2:00pm for overnight campers
- Extended day hours: 3:00-8:30pm Sunday, 8:30am-8:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-12:30pm Friday

SAFETY & REGULATIONS
The State of Connecticut requires a copy of camp participants’ most recent physical and record of immunizations, shots, etc., in addition to the US Sports Camps health and release form. CT Health Record Form
ACADEMY CAMP INFO:
- Check-in Overnight Campers: Sunday between 1:30-3pm
- Check out: Friday between 12:30-2 pm *
- Extended Day Camper Hours: 8:30am-8:30pm each day. *Except first and last day.
- Early arrival: For students travelling from far distances may arrive a night early for an extra fee of $75.
HOUSING
The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change each year. Final housing information for this camp will be provided in the Information Packet, emailed to all campers closer to the camp’s start date.
- Number of Campers Per Room: 1-2
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual
- Linens: Not provided. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase and a towel
- Air Conditioning: Please refer to the Camper Registration Packet. A/C availability depends on our specific dorm assignment
- Spending Money: For pizza, subs, sodas – suggested amount is $30 a week. We order pizza for late evening snacks, delivered at 8:30pm.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Training from the Vogelsinger Soccer Camp coaching staff
- Overnight & Extended Day campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided. *last meal for overnight campers is breakfast on Friday
- Supervision: Staff members reside in rooms strategically placed throughout the dorm to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt and prizes
- Meals:
- Extended-Day: Day 1: Dinner | Day 2-5: Lunch, Dinner | Day 6: none
- Overnight: Day 1: Dinner | Day 2-5: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Day 6: Breakfast
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
- Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes and a water bottle
- Facility: Pomfret School
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
PRE-CAMP CHECKLIST

GEAR
All Vogelsinger Soccer Campers receive, as part of their tuition, official Nike Vogelsinger Soccer Camp jerseys, and a Nike soccer ball. 1 Week Academy players receive x2 Nike tops, x1 Nike shorts, and x1 Nike socks. 2 Week Academy players receive x2 Nike tops x2 Nike shorts, and x2 Nike socks. Players are required to wear official tops at every field session. You may order extra uniforms from the office (1800-645-3226), camp store or online. Jersey: $20 Shorts: $20 Socks: $12.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
TEAM DISCOUNT
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. Please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
